ERIN JOY
Growing up I’ve always loved moving my body and practicing a healthy active lifestyle. Most of my background is centered around dance but I’ve been developing a deep appreciation for yoga over the past several years.
I started my yoga journey seeking balance in my life, my natural rhythm has always been so fast paced and my body was telling me I needed to slow down. Early on into my practice I knew there was something about yoga that was deeper than the poses, wanting to know everything I could I decided to sign up for my 200hr YTT.
Ever since then I’ve taken my love for teaching dance and my newfound passion for yoga and put them together into something so special for me, the gift of sharing yoga through educating and inspiring others. Over the next two years I’ll be working on my 800hr Yoga Therapist Training at Kripalu and am very excited to be on this journey. In addition to my own yoga practice, when I have free time I’m usually either hiking, creating art, crafting (I have a yoga inspired Etsy shop called Wild Thing), or paddle boarding.
