Claudia Bibow
A longing for inner peace and a more open heart draws Claudia’s devotion to yoga.
Claudia (500 ERYT) has studied under teachers including Yoga Mandali-founder Gopi Kinnicutt, Jo Kirsch & Bob Speck (Heart of the Village), Lauren Toolin (Yoga Vidya Academy), Ann Saffi-Biassetti, and Keli Lalita Reddy. Claudia holds also certificates inrestorative yoga (level 1 and 2), Mindful Self-Compassion, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapeutics (foundational) and obtained her Reiki Master attunement in the tradition of Dr. Mikao Usui.
Bhakti or “the yoga of the heart” was introduced to her by Gopi Kinnicutt and Gaura Vani and has become the pivot of her personal practice. She sees asana as a doorway to the inner journey of expanding self-awareness, personal growth and transformation, and inner peace. Bhakti yoga offers the opportunity to connect to something greater, a higher love. The practice encourages to live from a place of love for oneself and for this world despite all adversity.
Classes are well structured vinyasa flows suitable for many abilities and progressively prepare the body to go deeper into a pose. Expect to build strength and stamina as well as to gain a wider range of motion. Claudia creates an atmosphere of trust that encourages individuals to embrace and honor their own experience and to move beyond the asana practice.
Restorative classes with Claudia are nurturing, grounding, heart-centered and healing to the soul. They are an offering to journey deeply inward, to release old patterns and negativity. For a profound sense of relaxation and letting go she shares Reiki and thevibration of crystal bowls.
