Nini Gridley is a Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher (1998-2004) with over 500 hours of training from Kripalu Center, the largest and most established Yoga center in this country, located in Lenox, MA. She served on the Guest Sadhana Team teaching “Gentle”, “Extended Moderate” and “Kids and Parents” Yoga classes to retreat guests, while working in the Healing Arts Department. Nini continued to teach a wide variety of yoga classes to adults and children in Massachusetts and Connecticut before relocating to Saratoga Springs in 2009. Her classes are a compassionate blend of warm-ups, pranayama, sequenced asanas, savasana and meditation providing a well rounded yoga practice that is relaxing yet energizing for all levels of practitioners.

Nini has a Master’s Degree in Education from Bank Street College of Education (NY, NY) and a B.A. in Child Development and Education from Connecticut College (New London, CT). She is a dynamic workshop leader who has been teaching workshops on the chakras and healing through her private practice, Full Spectrum Healing™, since 1995. She is passionate about the chakras and how they help us recognize the unfolding process of the true Self. “The chakra system is a path to the soul that takes us to deeper understanding of our life path on all levels, including healing the body physically”.

Nini is a founding faculty member of Sacred Centers, the premier training program on the chakras developed by Anodea Judith Ph D. She has assisted Anodea with teaching the entire curriculum at national holistic learning centers including Kripalu Center, Omega, Crossings (Austin, TX) and Pura Vida in Costa Rica. In 2009 Nini led “Introduction to the Chakras” and “Chakra Balancing” as teleclasses to small groups over the telephone, reducing barriers to learning. She continued to teach “Retreat and Renewal” workshops at Kripalu Center, on the chakras, meditation and walking the sacred Labyrinth through 2015. Her workshops have been featured at libraries, schools, churches, community colleges and many Yoga centers throughout New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts.

Nini offers individual healing sessions to children and adults, in person or over the phone. A trained healer and teacher (Reiki – second degree advanced 1992), her intuitive guidance helps people understand the healing process and manage the openings that arise from practicing yoga. Internationally registered as a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner she utilizes Dr. Edward Bach’s 38 original flower essences in her healing practice, balancing negative emotional experiences easily and effectively in children and adults restoring health.
