Kristen Zorda

Kristen Zorda (ERYT-500) came to yoga seeking a deeper connection to divinity and the world around her.  After trying different styles of yoga, she found Bhakti Yoga - which felt like the missing piece she had always been looking for.  Kristen began teaching yoga in 2014 – realizing the healing power of yoga and how it could help so many others like it helped her.  Kristen became the owner of Yoga Mandali in Saratoga Springs NY in 2018 and a partner of the Ahimsa Yoga & Music Festival in 2021.

Her classes embody the principle that yoga helps nourish the connection between body and mind by incorporating breath, movement and music to leave you feeling transformed. She infuses traditional Vinyasa yoga alignment and flow with the spirituality and devotion of Bhakti to help you achieve the benefits of each pose while helping you break through obstacles in your own spiritual growth. Kristen is known for her non-judgmental, compassionate teaching style and helps you feel secure and accepted so you can deepen your connection to your true Self.

For over 20 years, Kristen has been studying and practicing yoga with teachers from all over the world. She honors her teachers, Gopi Kinnicutt (Bhakti Yoga D.C. ERYT 500) and Lal Maharajh (Vastu School of Yoga ERYT 500), Professor of Hindu Philosophy Edwin Bryant, PhD., as well as with her past and present yoga teachers.  Kristen has her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hartwick College – understanding at an early age that she wanted to help people.  Off the mat, Kristen is a mortgage loan officer, enjoys traveling, playing music, and being with her family.
