“If we learn to open our hearts, anyone, including the people who drive us crazy, can be our teacher.”  ― Pema Chödrön

When Claudia set foot onto a yoga mat for the first time she was instantly drawn to yoga and has come back for more ever since. For Claudia, yoga is the key for the door to open ones heart, to find emotional balance and gain clarity of the mind. When you come to her class you will feel nurtured and cared for, grounded and uplifted. Fostering mindfulness, her practice is both strengthening as well as softening. Her hands-on assists will support you to get deeper into a pose, to stabilize you, and to release tension. With a focus on breathing and proper alignment, Claudia invites you to listen to your own body, to find your edge, and to connect with your true inner self. For her, the practice of yoga and meditation is the art of becoming present, to gain a sense of calm and peace, and to understand oneself better. She believes that everybody harbors the sparkles within themselves that enable us to live a well-balanced, peaceful and happy life. Taking this path we turn our gaze inside, are open for a journey of discovery, and let the healing and transformative powers of yoga do their work.

Claudia is deeply grateful to all of her inspiring teachers who shared their knowledge and wisdom with her, especially Gopi Kinnicutt and Ann Saffi-Biasetti.

Claudia grew up in northern Germany, worked in advertising/marketing and later became a writer for a trade magazine for the media market.  Always feeling the wish to express creativity, she opened a small furniture & accessory store with a partner in Hamburg, Germany. With the births of her two children, Claudia decided to become a fulltime mom. In 2006 she left her former home, together with her husband and their two children, to live in Saratoga Springs, NY.
